Volksmusikworkshop mit Stefan Hackl

The one-day workshop is aimed on the one hand at guitarists from the field of folk music who would like to deepen their knowledge of the instrument and on the other hand at classically trained guitarists who are looking for an introduction to folk music. 

Stefan Hackl has conducted field research over many years, documented folk guitar playing in Tyrol and recorded and published numerous pieces. A very special, extinct tradition was revived: playing in the gypsy mood. Stefan Hackl played with the most important representatives of the guitar such as Sepp Eibl, Klaus Karl and Wolfgang Neumüller, with the Tiroler Wechselsaitigen also at the ligita 2011. The mutual fertilization of E-music and free, down-to-earth music of all kinds (folk music, flamenco, jazz) is one of the important factors in the development of a musician and in Stefan Hackl's teaching activities at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium and at the Mozarteum Salzburg/Innsbruck, Austria.
