José María Gallardo del Rey is one of the most important figures in Spanish guitar. He masterfully combines classical tradition with the expressiveness of flamenco and has established himself internationally as a guitarist, composer, and teacher. 

Since his debut in Seville at the age of eight, he has been trained by outstanding teachers such as América Martínez, José Tomás, and Luis Lerate. These influences have shaped his career and cemented his passion for chamber music. 

He has performed in renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, the Palau de la Música in Valencia, and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. José has participated in major international events such as the Joaquín Rodrigo anniversary and Expo Dubai 2022.
